Robert Batch empowers teens and young adults with a heightened awareness that Christ is true love, showing by example how young men and women are able to bring Christ's love into their own daily lives for a more fulfilling existence.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Robert is a lifelong Catholic who has always had the desire to spread the Gospel and demonstrate Christ’s love to others, which he accomplishes through small, everyday actions, as well as through his ministry. Robert currently resides in Southern California, where he where he has been teaching high school theology for 9 years.
Robert received his Bachelor’s degree in 2014 from Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH, where he majored in communications and minored in theology, and has his masters in Theology.
While at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Robert took a one-year sabbatical during which he served with the National Evangelization Teams (NET) Ministries from 2010 through 2011, where he conducted more than 120 youth retreats in more than eight states throughout the Midwest and east coast regions of the country. Robert’s work with NET Ministries involved facilitating youth retreats, leading small and large group discussions, conducting prayer groups and providing spiritual interaction with at-risk youth.
Today Robert combines the production experience he acquired at Franciscan University with a charismatic and engaging speaking ability. As a young Catholic himself, Robert can relate to what reaches the teens and young adults of the Church today. Because of this he is able to deliver his message of God’s love in a manner that both engages and inspires his audience.
Robert currently resides in southern California with his wife Amanda, and four children, Cecilia, Teresa, Francis and Kayden.
Testimonials:
"Robert was a breath of fresh air to our "Building the Kingdom (BTK)" event. Both entertaining, passionate, and serious, he held the attention of our youth, all Confirmation candidates, and adult chaperones as he spoke on the importance of vocations. His words were specifically directed at them in a way they could understand and really think about their life and its direction. Some of the comments made were, "it helped me understand myself" and it was "peaceful". The latter comment was most certainly directed at the portion of his workshop where he invited the teens to come forward to be prayed over. What started off at first with just a few brave souls quickly grew into a long line of teens who felt the need to be held in prayer individually, one-on-one. It was a great ending to an interactive workshop and all around great day!. I highly recommend Robert Batch for your next youth event." - Maria Alvarado BTK (Building the Kingdom) POC, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Moreno Valley, CA
