Nani Perez’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience, faith, and the transformative power of art. Born in Bogotá, Colombia, and a Miami resident since 2000, her background in Fashion and Interior Design reflects her multicultural roots and creative vision. Her work, which she attributes to God’s talent gift, focuses on crafting unique, meaningful spaces that honor the sacredness of family life. Despite enduring profound losses—the tragic death of her fiancé to guerrilla violence and her brother’s suicide in 2000—Nani’s deepened relationship with God became her cornerstone.
Raised in a Catholic family with non-practicing divorced parents, her faith grew through adversity, leading her to advocate for pro-life causes and the centrality of faith and family. Her public speaking, initially unexpected, evolved into a ministry where she shares her journey as a motivational speaker. Nani’s creative path expanded through her work as a children’s book author and TV host for a home decoration and gardening show, experiences that laid the groundwork for her faith-based projects.
Her studies in Sacred Art, Bible studies, and Theology of the Body at the Southeast Pastoral Institute enriched her mission to integrate faith and art. This culminated in her hosting “La Belleza de Dios” on EWTN in Spanish, a series exploring the connection between Catholic art and faith, inspired by Saint John Paul II’s “God is Beauty.” Her approach, rooted in the “Way of Beauty,” blends liturgy, meditation, observation of nature, and evangelization, revealing God as the source of true Beauty. Her multilingual fluency in Spanish, English, and Italian, combined with her global experiences, enhances her ability to connect with diverse audiences.
Nani’s story exemplifies how personal tragedy, faith, and artistic passion can converge to inspire and evangelize, inviting others to encounter God through Beauty.
