Dr. Miller speaks on many topics, however, here are a few of her more popular talks:
The Three Lessons of Abortion
Based on her book Abandoned—The Untold Story of the Abortion Wars— Dr. Miller describes her personal experience as a pro-life leader, talking women out of abortions, court trials and the retrieval of the aborted unborn from clinic trash dumpsters. Dr. Miller describes the 3 lessons she learned on the front lines of the pro-life movement that reveal the essence of abortion, lessons that will help pro-lifers understand what needs to be done to re-establish the right to life for the unborn.
Severed Ties—How Abortion Dissolves Feminine Authority
Dr. Miller explains how abortion attacks the God-given dignity, nature and authority of women and thus leads to the dissolution of human communion—a communion upon which society itself is built and without which it cannot survive.
The Real Meaning of Roe versus Wade
Dr. Miller explains how Roe v. Wade is not simply a legal ruling that deprives the unborn of their right-to-life, but is in fact is a philosophy on what it means to be human—a manifesto of isolation and alienation that begins with the court’s peculiar emphasis on the “right to privacy” which leads to a radical and deadly isolation and a break- down of human communion beginning with the woman. In this talk pro-lifers come to understand their unique and absolutely essential mission in the restoration of a just and humane culture of life.
The Role of Women in the Church
Based on her book The Authority of Women in the Catholic Church, Dr. Miller explains that women are the sign of the Church in relation to the male priesthood and thus exercise the absolutely essential life-giving moral and sacramental responsibility for the Faith within the nuptial covenant of redemption.
Why “Gay Marriage” is Not Marriage
As American culture moves closer to an acceptance of “gay marriage” Dr. Miller explains from religious and philosophical arguments why such sexual unions are contrary to human dignity and human sexual responsibility and not equivalent to heterosexual marital bonds as they fail to provide inherent, embodied identity and duties upon which the foundation of society itself depends.
