Mike Iversen brings more than two decades of full-time ministry experience and a compelling personal journey to every event. A former Protestant pastor who entered the Catholic Church with his family in 2010, Mike is a dynamic and engaging speaker whose passion for evangelization and discipleship inspires audiences to grow deeper in their faith and become intentional disciples of Christ.
Mike serves as the Director of Discipleship at SPIRITUS. He has more than 25 years of experience working with young people and over 20 years in full-time ministry serving parishes and apostolates. He and his wife, Kate, have been married for more than 25 years and have three young adult children. Ordained as a Protestant pastor, Mike remained in that role until 2009, when he and his family became convinced that the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church can only be found in the Catholic faith. They entered full communion with the Catholic Church in 2010 and have not looked back. Mike is known for a compelling, approachable communication style that connects with audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, and his practical teaching equips others to become disciples.
Mike speaks frequently around Wisconsin and does training and Parish missions for the Diocese of Green Bay, talks in the Diocese of La Crosse, and has been a speaker at the FOCUS SEEK conference 3 years (and counting)! He has experience speaking to Men's Ministries, at Young Adult events, with Family Ministries, and for large conferences on a variety of topics. Evangelization and Discipleship are integral to who he is, and he loves speaking on those subjects. He is also a dynamic MC for events and has 20+ years experience leading audiences at events of all sizes.
