Though he is a cradle Catholic, Marcus became a serious and practicing Catholic in college after being introduced to the Theology of the Body and realizing the damages caused by a life of promiscuity and irresponsibility. Marcus is most known for his YouTube video “Worth the Wait” – which has been translated into multiple languages and shown at events such as the 2014 Theology of the Body Congress – and his article “7 Things Every Protestant Should Know About Catholicism”. Marcus now travels the nation sharing his story and inspiring others to live courageously chaste, and Catholic, lifestyles.
Marcus is a native Texan and currently resides in the Washington, DC area. He holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Cyber Security. He has a deep love for his Family, Philosophy, Theology, Computer Science and Technology, Music, and Basketball (mostly the San Antonio Spurs).

"In my pastoral ministry, I see so many men and women, of all ages, who are completely alienated from the true meaning of love, marriage, commitment, and the beautiful self-donation that makes all of these great gifts to humanity possible. Thirsting for Truth has challenged so many to go beyond the destructive and limited popular view on marriage, romance, and relationships. Dianne and Marcus' story is inspiring and their insights are poignant and motivating. Through their talks, videos, and programming the Thirsting for Truth team offers the Church and the people of God something truly beneficial in the formation of our young people and our society as a whole." - Fr. Jonathan Felux (Director of Seminarians, Archdiocese of San Antonio)
"Marcus Guevara uses humor and candor to provide an audience with what it needs: truth. His story -- which is frankly riveting -- illuminates both the truth and the path to Jesus Christ." - Arleen Spenceley, author of Chastity Is For Lovers: Single, Happy, and (Still) a Virgin
"Marcus' delivery was so engaging that I lost all track of time." - Sister Gemma Abonge, Youth Minister
