I would be a lost cause without the Immaculata. Mary brought me to her Son and saved my life. Without her, I wouldn't have a faith, and might not even be here today.
Many people say that their faith is the most important part of their life, but shouldn't it be that your faith IS your life? I am convinced that there is much more for us, that we are meant to be so filled with the Holy Spirit that each of us approach divine union with God, no matter where we are in our journey, no matter what our vocation, and no matter what our circumstances. All of this is not only possible for us, but God is calling each one of us to the perfection of charity. Long story short: Holiness is real. The only way to get there is through Jesus, and the way to Jesus is through the work of the Immaculata and the Holy Spirit.
Joshua is primarily a husband and father who is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Theology. Additionally, he has also completed PhD level coursework in Systematic Theology at Ave Maria University. After collegiate studies, he ran an apostolate in New York City before working as Diocesan Director of Evangelization for the Diocese of Venice in Florida for 5 years.
Currently, Joshua is a real estate developer (which he calls his St. Joseph job, because he gets to be involved in building things) and runs a technical editing business which edits theological texts. He is the author of Knowing the Unknown God: A Practical Guide to How the Holy Spirit Will Make You Holy and the upcoming book Led by the Immaculata: St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Spiritual Battle Plan for Marian Consecration.
Joshua has written theology curriculum for multiple Diocesan institutes, contributed to writing Catholic theology textbooks, and has edited over 30 high-school level theology textbooks and teacher’s manuals. He has spoken at Diocesan level conferences including Evangelization, Men's conferences, Apologetics, and Scripture, as well as material for Catholic programs on iHeart Radio and popular Catholic podcasts. Along with writing curriculum, he has taught theology courses, helped construct college graduate level theology courses and acted as facilitator for them online. In addition to these, Joshua has experience in publishing and editing for a Mariological academic newsletter for an international organization with which he served as a member of the Secretariat.
His primary specializations are topics on the Blessed Virgin Mary (and her relation to the Holy Spirit & our spiritual lives), the Holy Spirit, Catholic spirituality (asceticism & mysticism), understanding the Bible, meditating on the Scriptures, and living a dynamic Spirit-filled lifestyle. He has also given many talks on Catholic Evangelization and Apologetics.
