Talk Topics:
Talking to Your Family About the Dangers of Alcohol Abuse:
As a liver disease expert, Dr. Galati has been caring for those afflicted with alcohol related liver disease and cirrhosis. This experience is transformed into a passionate discussion of how to better understand the ill effects of alcohol on your body and liver, and how to explain these dangers to you children and family members.
The Cost of Wellness:
Parents across the globe need to remain health for their children and their spouses. Otherwise, there is disruption of the nuclear family. It is well known that 80% of the chronic illness we see (diabetes, obesity, heart disease, cancer, kidney disease, cirrhosis) can be prevented with simple lifestyle changes. Understanding these risks and making the proper lifestyle changes is of the utmost importance.
Family, Faith, and Food – Understanding the 3F’s:
Growing up in a close-knit Italian household in New York, Dr. Galati learned the value of home cooking and eating as a family. These simple family habits unfortunately are slowly eroding away. The benefit to our children, and the health of our families, is invaluable. The three F's should be the battle cry heard across America to preserve the integrity of our health and wellness, and the nuclear family.
