John Martignoni. Born Catholic, but never learned the Faith growing up. Left the Church when I went off to college. Received a B.S. in Finance and then an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama.
Went to work in the defense industry as a cost analyst for several years before returning to school - Univ. of North Carolina - to get a Ph.D. in Finance. Did not get the Ph.D., but came back to the Church at the end of the year I was at North Carolina. Was a cafeteria Catholic for a couple of years until getting hold of Scott Hahn’s “Conversion Story” talk and delving deeply into apologetics. First public practice of apologetics was to protest a virulently anti-Catholic program that was aired on the largest Evangelical radio station in Alabama, and wound up with a live, 1-hr. per week program on that same station doing Catholic apologetics. Starting giving talks at parishes soon after and that grew into a full-time job at which I’ve been working for the last 12 years or so.

“John Martignoni’s explanation of the Faith is disarming. He uses simple, basic terms that those without a theological or scriptural background can easily comprehend. His delivery communicates conviction...If you want to strengthen your skills in apologetics, I encourage you to acquire and absorb Mr. Martignoni’s materials.” -Most Reverend Victor Galeone, Bishop (Emeritus) of St. Augustine, FL
“Your site is great. I am a catholic priest of 30years in good standing and a missionary priest from Alaska...I have translated and used your apologetics in Russian...I am so impressed with your work.”
Fr Michael Shields
“I wanted to let you know that we received the tapes and cds about a week ago and the chaplain's office is loving them. I really appreciate everything you have done for the people of Uganda. I hope you are well and that your work is bearing many fruits. It is already bearing fruits here. One of the nuns told me that she thinks I was sent to Uganda just for her because she loves all of the apologetics materials I have provided to them and I really couldn't have done that without your help.” -Brannen Parrish, Uganda
“ I was a protestant and got converted to catholic before my marriage. Though I was aware of what Catholics do, I was not aware of what they believe. And, to know the truth, I went through a lot of Catechism classes before marriage that did not do much to help me. They were quite 'technical'. I was after my husband to help me understand what they believe. Then he got me your audio downloads. After listening to which, I bless you, life has changed. Along with me, my husband too confesses that the insight towards the Church, the Truth and the Life has changed greatly for the good. And now when we look at the Altar, we know what we are looking at!” -Veronica & Vinfred Christopher, Andhra Pradesh, India
“Your talks are so good I recommend them to my confirmation candidates & we're Anglican!” -Fr. Paul Hamilton, England
