Gary Montgomery has been a professional communicator for over 35 years. He retired as Sports Director with WDRB-TV, Fox 41 in August 2007. He founded his speaking & training business 15 years ago and has addressed audiences all over the county and beyond! He has shared his “I CAN PLAY” formula in the countries of Panama, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.
He speaks to businesses, associations, church organizations, youth groups and individuals sharing his “I CAN PLAY” attitude. In fact that’s the name of the book he wrote, … “I CAN PLAY, A Philosophy for Life!”
Gary is a Louisville native and a member of St. Bernadette Church, (formerly Mother of Good Counsel) where he teaches 8th grade G.I.F.T. He received the Roncalli Award in 2004, given for excellence in catechesis. He and his wife Judy have been married 39 years. They have two children, Tara and Troy, and two grandchildren Caleb and Sophia.
His formula for living life with an 'I CAN PLAY' attitude is simple; build the vision, remain positive throughout the journey, go past the obstacles, and take risks ... and throughout the journey, believe and focus on the goal. The success formula works in all parts of life; our careers, our relationships with each other and our faith journey with Jesus Christ!
