Gabriel Milano catholic speaker author

Travels from Milford, Connecticut

Gabriel Milano is a fantasy author, theologian, adventure seeker, and meaning mapper. Adventure calls to all of us. Sadly, so many of youth have abandoned their faith. By abandoning their faith they have abandoned meaning. And by abandoning meaning, they have abandoned real adventure and purpose. As a lover of stories, Gabriel helps youth and young adults discover their own adventure by delving into movies such as The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, or the Marvel Universe. Drawing from these cultural myths, Gabriel guides the youth to the deepest meaning of who they are and who God is calling them to become, in light of their own stories and John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. He believes that we are each writing our own story (with or without God). Writing it WITHOUT God is often frustrating and discouraging. Writing WITH God (seeing it through His eyes) is liberating. It is the Theology of the Body that can help the youth see God’s vision for their stories. Gabriel's mission is to give them this vision.

Gabriel Milano has been speaking to youth and young adults for nearly 20 years. He began his speaking at Franciscan University, he developed his speaking abilities further by leading over 100 retreats at NET Ministries, he perfected his speaking ability at The Culture Project International, and he continued his TOB speaking career at TOBET Inc.

Over the years he has given talks on countless subjects but specializes most in talks relating to meaning, purpose, dignity, the sacraments, and the Theology of the Body. Gabriel studied philosophy and theology at Franciscan University of Steubenville. He later received his Master's degree in Theology in Marriage and Family at the John Paul II Institute in Washington, DC, where Gabriel would come to know more deeply what it means to be human made in God's image and likeness. Over the years following that, Gabriel has written multiple articles and given countless talks on meaning, faith, and the Theology of the Body. Gabriel is the founder of Estel Speaking and Estel Publishing, where he publishes video blogs and novels respectively.

Gabriel Milano, MTS is a member of the Catholic Speaker Organization. He currently resides in Connecticut with his wife Jennifer who owns her own counseling practice Siena Counseling. When giving marriage talks together, Jennifer will often speak on the psychological and interpersonal dimensions of marriage and Gabriel will speak on the theological and the narrative dimensions.

Available Talks

The Adventure of a Warrior (Confirmation, Grades 8-10)

Confirmation is Catholic graduation, right? Wrong. If baptism brings us into the kingdom of God, Confirmation makes us soldiers for that kingdom. Confirmation is only the beginning of the great adventure of a warrior.

A Love that Frees Us (Chastity, Grade 6-12)

Catholic rules sometimes seem so lame. Don’t do this! Don’t do that! But sin does not make us free. Jesus said “whoever commits sin, is a slave to sin.” Lust binds us to slavery. Love sets us free to live out the adventure! (Note: Content may be veiled for a Middle School audience)

Discover Your Mission (College)

We each have a unique mission - a story and adventure that only we can live. But after 16 years of school many begin wondering where their story is leading them next. The answer is simple: to discover their unique mission! (Note: Content may be customized for a High School audience)

Living a Beautiful Love (Marriage Pre-Cana)

At the end of our lives, no one says “I wish I worked more.” But often they do say “I wish I loved more.” And God who is love wants each of us to experience a beautiful love. He want us each to write the great story of our love.
