Fr. Daniel Klimek is an author, Marian theologian, retreat leader, spiritual director, and lecturer who received his Ph.D. in spirituality with distinction from the Catholic University of America, and a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School. He ministers at the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy for the Marians of the Immaculate Conception  as the assistant director of evangelization and regularly appears on EWTN as a presenter for the show Living Divine Mercy.

Fr. Daniel is the author of numerous books, most recently, With Jesus and Mary: Reflections on the Rosary (Emmaus 2025), For the Love of Mary (Emmaus 2023), and Medjugorje and the Supernatural (Oxford 2018), for which he won the Faculty Award for Excellence in Scholarship at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. Fr. Daniel has also taught in the School of Franciscan Studies at St. Bonaventure University, the deacon formation program at the Saint Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology, and at the Cenacle of Our Lady of Divine Providence School of Spiritual Direction in Clearwater, FL.

Fr. Daniel has helped lead pilgrimages to Lourdes, Fatima, Assisi, Rome, Medjugorje, the Holy Land, and the sacred sites of Spain and Poland. As a college student he studied political science at DePaul University, where he was a student of the eminent political scientist Norman G. Finkelstein, and interned for the Office of a U.S. Senator and for the Sunday political talk show, ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

Fr. Daniel has published numerous articles on Catholic issues, morality, and sociopolitical commentary in such popular outlets as The Federalist, Crisis Magazine, Church POP, and Aleteia. After reading a book on the Marian apparitions in Medjugorje his senior year in college, he experienced a radical conversion toward a life of prayer, fasting, the sacraments, and a deep love for Our Lady, changing the trajectory of his life, leading to the priesthood and to numerous books, talks, retreats, and pilgrimages, dedicating his vocation to Jesus through Mary. He is currently finishing writing his fourth book about the Blessed Virgin Mary, the love of his life.
