Erin Pohlmeier Catholic Speaker

Travels from Fayetteville, Arkansas

With a heart on fire for Christ and a passion for helping others encounter Him personally, Erin Pohlmeier brings faith to life through powerful talks, retreats, and professional development for schools and parishes.

Erin Pohlmeier is a Catholic speaker, retreat leader, and founder of Abide Women’s Ministry, known for her heartfelt storytelling, authentic witness, and passion for helping others encounter Christ in a personal way. A mother of seven and wife to a permanent deacon, Erin has spent years building a faith-filled home and ministering to those around her. Now, she is stepping into a new season—bringing her experience as a wife, mother, educator, and ministry leader into teaching, retreat work, and professional development for schools and parishes. Her talks and workshops invite audiences to deepen their faith, embrace their identity in Christ, and grow in authentic relationship with God.

After graduating summa cum laude from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in education, Erin taught in both Catholic and public schools. Her teaching experience, combined with her heart for evangelization, has led her to speak on topics such as Theology of the Body, Natural Family Planning, Feminine Genius, the restoration of identity rooted in God, and growing in a personal relationship with Jesus. Erin has also written devotionals for the Bellator Society, offering encouragement and spiritual insights for readers seeking to live their faith more deeply.

As the founder of Abide Women’s Ministry, Erin has created a thriving apostolate where women of all ages can grow in faith, experience authentic friendship, and be renewed through prayer and the sacraments. Under her leadership, Abide has expanded to include small groups, retreats, and events designed to help women remain rooted in Christ (John 15:4–7).

With a special passion for creating and facilitating retreats for parish and school staff, youth, adults, and ministry groups, Erin offers spaces for prayer, reflection, and spiritual renewal. Now, through professional development sessions for schools and parishes, she equips educators and leaders to integrate Catholic identity, faith, and prayer into every aspect of their mission.

When she’s not speaking or leading retreats, Erin embraces life with her husband and children in Fayetteville, Arkansas—grateful for the gift of family, faith, and the opportunity to serve the Church in this new chapter of life.

Erin loves working alongside parishes, schools, and Catholic organizations to design talks, workshops, and retreats tailored to the unique needs of their communities. Whether it’s professional development for parish staff, a Theology of the Body retreat for students, a women’s day of reflection, or a parish mission focused on identity in Christ, Erin partners closely with leaders to craft events that are prayerful, engaging, and spiritually transformative. Her collaborative approach ensures that each event reflects the vision of the host community while providing powerful opportunities for participants to grow in faith and encounter Christ in a personal way.

Theology of the Body: Identity, Dignity & Mission
This talk introduces St John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, showing how being created in God’s image gives each person a unique identity and a call to authentic love. It explains the “spousal meaning” of the body and how that points to self‑gift and communion with Christ. The session is suitable for middle‑school, high‑school, adult, and parish‑staff audiences, helping them live out their vocation in the Church’s mission.

Feminine Genius: The Gift of Womanhood
Rooted in Mulieris Dignitatem, this presentation celebrates the unique vocation and beauty of authentic femininity. It shows how women, by reflecting God’s heart, enrich the world through compassion, service, and “spiritual beauty.” Designed for women’s groups, retreats, and parish events, it invites participants to live fully as heirs of God’s feminine genius.

Natural Family Planning: God’s Design for Marriage & Family
This faith‑filled exploration explains how Natural Family Planning aligns with the Church’s teaching on the “spousal meaning of the body” and natural law. Couples learn to practice responsible parenthood as co‑creators with God, respecting the dignity of the person. The talk is aimed at engaged and married couples, marriage‑prep groups, and adult faith‑formation settings.

Restoring Your Identity in Christ
The session helps participants reclaim their true identity as children of God, breaking free from false cultural narratives. It emphasizes living fully alive in Christ through prayer, sacramental participation, and the language of the body that points to authentic self‑gift. Appropriate for all ages, parish missions, and youth events, it equips listeners to embody the Church’s mission as a sign of Christ’s love.

Rooted: Growing in a Personal Relationship with Jesus
Targeted to schools, parish staff, and ministry leaders, this presentation offers practical ways to develop a prayer life and “abide” in Christ (John 15:4‑7). It highlights daily prayer, Eucharistic devotion, and the fruits of the Spirit as means to stay rooted in Him. Participants leave equipped to encounter Jesus personally and to witness the Gospel in everyday life.

Integrating Faith into School & Parish Life (Professional Development)
These workshops help parish staff, educators, and catechists weave prayer, Catholic identity, and faith formation into daily school or parish life. They provide concrete strategies for embedding liturgical prayer, catechetical moments, and a culture of personal holiness. The goal is to form students and parishioners who live authentically as members of the Body of Christ.

Abide: A Women’s Retreat on Prayer & Community
This retreat invites women’s ministry groups to deepen prayer, authentic friendship, and sacramental life. It reflects on the “genius of women,” showing how authentic femininity flourishes in communal prayer. Participants leave renewed in spiritual connection and community bonds.

Identity Restored: A Parish or Youth Retreat
Focused on encountering God’s mercy, this retreat helps youth and young adults reclaim their identity as beloved children of God. Through Scripture, the sacraments, and personal testimony, participants discover purpose in Christ. It is ideal for parish missions and youth‑group settings.

Rooted in Christ: Staff or Ministry Team Retreat
Designed for parish and school staff, this retreat centers on the biblical call to “abide in Christ” (John 15). It offers time for prayer, reflection, and mutual encouragement to renew spiritual vigor. Participants return revitalized and more deeply rooted in their vocational service.

Theology of the Body for Teens
This session introduces middle‑ and high‑school students to the insights of Theology of the Body, explaining love, relationships, and human dignity in God’s plan. Interactive activities help them apply the “spousal meaning” of the body to everyday life. It is tailored to foster a Christ‑centered understanding of sexuality and self‑gift.

Come Away & Rest: A Retreat for Busy Parents
The retreat creates space for prayer, rest, and spiritual renewal amid family responsibilities. Parents learn to “abide” in Christ, finding true rest in God’s love and the call to self‑gift. Practical tips are offered for integrating prayer into family routines, helping parents grow in holiness.
