Elizabeth Yore is an international child protection attorney specializing in the investigation of missing, abducted, and exploited children.
Elizabeth served as Oprah Winfrey’s Special Counsel at Harpo, Inc. Prior to that position, Liz was General Counsel for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, where she created the nation’s first Child Welfare Missing Wards unit at DCFS and investigated the first clergy abuse criminal conviction in 20 years in Cook County Illinois. She negotiated a model MOU with the Archdiocese of Chicago to ensure that allegations of clerical abuse of children were immediately reported to law enforcement and child welfare.
While at DCFS, she supervised the first federal human trafficking investigation and prosecution in Chicago under the Federal Trafficking Victims Protection Act involving missing wards of the state which resulted in a successful conviction.
Liz also served as both General Counsel and Director of the International Division at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) in Arlington Virginia, which is the national clearinghouse for missing and exploited children, both in the U.S. and around the world. She trained investigators at Interpol and handled Hague Treaty International child abduction cases on behalf of the U.S. State Department.
She regularly appears as an expert on Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast and appeared on Faith and Reason as a regular panelist, LifeSiteNews’ podcast. Liz writes for various news sites, including Breitbart, Townhall, Daily Caller, and LIFESITENEWS.
She serves as a coalition partner for Save the Persecuted Christians.
