Elizabeth Sutcliffe Catholic Speaker

Travels from Kelowna, Canada

Elizabeth Sutcliffe is a dynamic Catholic speaker, author, and pro-life advocate who has spoken to thousands across Canada and the United States. A post-abortive mother, former counsellor, and co-host and producer of Warriors for Life, she combines lived experience, professional insight, and deep faith to deliver compelling presentations on abortion, healing, and the dignity of life from womb to tomb.

Since 2011, Elizabeth Sutcliffe has inspired thousands across Canada and the United States through her powerful testimony, deep Catholic faith, and unwavering commitment to the pro-life movement. As a post-abortive mother who found healing through the mercy of Christ and the sacraments of the Catholic Church, Elizabeth speaks with authority, compassion, and conviction—offering hope to the wounded and courage to the faithful.

Elizabeth is the co-host and producer of Warriors for Life, a Catholic media platform dedicated to confronting the culture of death with truth, faith, and reason. Through powerful interviews, cultural commentary, and digital evangelization across YouTube, Rumble, and social media, she is helping equip a new generation of Catholics to defend the dignity of every human life with clarity and compassion.

She currently serves as the President of the Board for Burnaby Pro-Life Society in British Columbia, continuing to provide leadership, governance, and strategic direction within one of Canada’s active pro-life communities. Elizabeth’s foundation in public speaking began early—she started speaking at just 16 years old.

In 1989, she was crowned Miss Osoyoos, where she received formal training through Toastmasters and won the award for best speech among the candidates. This early formation laid the groundwork for her ability to communicate with clarity, confidence, and impact. A seasoned public speaker, Elizabeth has shared her story at high schools, universities, churches, conferences, and rallies—including Silent No More Awareness Campaign events, March for Life gatherings, and diocesan-wide youth days.

Elizabeth is also the author of Grace Has a Name: A Journey from Silence to Strength, a powerful memoir recounting her abortion experience, her path to healing, and her return to the Catholic faith. In addition to her speaking, she has contributed written articles featured in The B.C. Catholic and Live Action News further extending her voice in the pro-life movement.

From Wounded to Witness: A Ministry Born of Mercy

Raised in a Portuguese Catholic family with a strong devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, Elizabeth drifted from the faith in her early adult years. After experiencing an abortion in 2001, she spent years silently suffering. Her experience was unique—Elizabeth underwent a medical abortion at a time when the procedure was still emerging in Canada, and she was part of an early clinical rollout that would later lead to widespread legalization and distribution. This deeply personal experience gives her a distinct and credible voice when speaking about the realities and consequences of abortion in today’s culture.

It was through a divine encounter—and a woman named Jan—that her journey home began. Through the sacrament of confession, spiritual direction, and naming her aborted daughter Grace, Elizabeth found profound healing—and discovered her mission: to speak so others know they’re not alone.

Before entering full-time pro-life ministry, Elizabeth worked as a counsellor, where she developed a foundation in listening, care, and emotional support that continues to shape her approach today. She later served for many years as the Client Care Manager at Hope for Women Pregnancy Services in Abbotsford, BC, where she supported women in crisis, trained volunteers, and counseled many post-abortive mothers.

During her time there, Elizabeth developed RECLAIMED, a post-abortion recovery program designed to help women process their experiences, encounter healing, and rediscover their dignity and identity. She was also instrumental in establishing and expanding the center’s outreach, which grew to multiple locations under Advokate Life & Education Services—Canada’s largest pro-life charity at the time.

In addition to her speaking and media work, Elizabeth now provides leadership as President of the Board for Burnaby Pro-Life Society, helping guide outreach, education, and advocacy efforts in her community.

A Dynamic Voice for Truth and Healing

Elizabeth holds a Provincial Instructor’s Diploma and has extensive experience developing workshops, mentoring frontline volunteers, and speaking to diverse audiences. She blends faith, psychology, apologetics, and personal witness into compelling presentations that touch hearts and challenge minds. Her message now addresses the full spectrum of life issues—from abortion and post-abortion healing to the dignity of the disabled and end-of-life care.

Drawing from her personal experience walking with her mother through dementia and end-of-life, Elizabeth brings a deeply human and timely perspective to what it means to be truly pro-life in today’s culture. Her ministry, Elizabeth Speaks Truth, exists to proclaim life, mercy, and healing—especially to post-abortive women, Catholic audiences, and pro-life advocates in need of renewal. Every talk is grounded in the Eucharist, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
