Dr. William Lile, D.O., FACOG, “The ProLifeDoc”, is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Alabama. He has been an instructor for both the University of Florida and Florida State University, OB/GYN residency programs. He is the former chairman of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. He has an active practice in Pensacola.
In 1999, Dr. Lile took over the practice of a physician that had been the largest provider of abortion services in the Florida panhandle for decades. The contract stipulated that the former abortionist could not practice any medicine in the Tri-county area for 24 months. All abortions and referrals for abortions were immediately stopped.
In that same year, Dr. Lile founded ProLifeDoc. After touring the surgical suite in the abortionist’s office for the first time, and seeing the abortion equipment ready for the next procedure, Dr. Lile was called to dedicate his life to stopping abortion. He is a frequent guest on both TV and Radio, including on Family Talk with Dr. James Dobson. He frequently testifies in support of Pro-Life legislation in different States.
Dr. Lile travels the country sharing about using the tools of modern obstetrics to reveal the personhood and personality within the womb and has helped raise over $1,000,000 for Pregnancy Care Centers across the United States. If they are patients, they are persons, and if they are persons, they deserve protection. Dr. Lile has been the Keynote Speaker for Heartbeat International and speaks annually for Heartbeat and Care-Net. Dr. Lile serves as an Advisory Board Member for Congressman Matt Gaetz, 1st district, Florida, and serves as a Medical Advisor for over a dozen National Pro-Life organizations. Dr. Lile has produced a DVD called “God’s Miracle of Life”.
Dr. Lile's presentations are unique and can share the medical, developmental, and genetic facts with the authority of a Board Certified Obstetrician that has delivered almost 4,000 babies. He discusses spiritual truths as a Medical Advisor for Fr. Frank Pavone, Priests For Life, and has been featured in Catholic Compass Magazine and been a Keynote Speaker for Respect Life. Dr. Lile has been active in Pro-Life Legislation in Ohio, Mississippi and Florida.
