There was a time I sat in the pews feeling invisible but Christ saw me, called me, and sent me. Today, I speak to the ones who feel overlooked, reminding them that God doesn’t just use perfect stories; He redeems the broken ones. As a Black Catholic woman, educator, and preacher, I bring Scripture to life with authenticity, joy, and the fierce belief that everyone belongs in the Body of Christ. Whether I’m speaking to youth, walking with women through healing, or igniting Eucharistic fire in a weary heart, I show up with one message: God hasn’t forgotten you. And your story isn’t over; it's just beginning.
Dr. Alice Prince is a Catholic speaker, educator, and evangelist whose voice blends academic depth, spiritual clarity, and heartfelt storytelling. She currently serves as the Director of Evangelization and Communications at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish and the Director of Faith and Formation at St. Louis Catholic Academy. With over 15 years of experience in ministry, education, and public speaking, Dr. Prince brings the Gospel to life in a way that is both accessible and transformative. Her journey began as a young girl sitting in Mass alone, drawn to the sanctuary before she fully understood why. Over time, that quiet curiosity grew into a calling to preach, teach, and build a Church where all God’s people feel seen and loved.
Dr. Prince holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, a Post-Master’s Certificate in Program Evaluation from Washington University, and multiple ministry certifications from the University of Notre Dame’s McGrath Institute for Church Life. She has studied at the Black Preaching Academy at the St. Thomas Aquinas Institute and is currently discerning her participation in the inaugural Proclaim preaching formation program. Her theological formation and lived experience allow her to speak powerfully on topics such as Eucharistic revival, women’s roles in the Church, hardship and healing, and youth engagement.
Her global reach includes leading a worldwide novena to St. Josephine Bakhita through the Hozana App, based in France, where thousands of Catholics joined her in nine days of prayer and spiritual reflection. Alice has also delivered keynote addresses and workshops for major Catholic conferences, including the Archdiocese of St. Louis Faith & Formation Conference (1,200+ attendees). Her ministry and leadership have earned her recognition through awards such as Women in Leadership, Excellence in Youth Programming, and the Black Women in Energy Anthem Award.
She is the co-host of Bakhita’s Blessings Podcast, a joyful and justice-rooted series that explores Scripture, spirituality, and the sacred stories of God’s people. Whether preaching to teens, guiding women’s retreats, or helping parishes rediscover their purpose, Dr. Prince speaks with conviction, compassion, and a deep love for the Church. Her mission is simple: to help every person encounter the living God who sees them, loves them, and calls them by name.
