Christened Baptist, confirmed Anglican, influenced by the Pentecostal movement during his college years, and ultimately finding his home within the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. Before stepping behind a pulpit, Deacon Powell spent over twenty years building an outstanding career in the Caribbean hospitality industry. A graduate of Munro College in Jamaica and the University of the West Indies Centre for Hotel and Tourism Management, he rose through the ranks of Sandals Resorts International in Jamaica and St. Lucia, eventually serving as General Manager for one of the region’s most recognized hospitality brands.
His corporate success sharpened the leadership, communication and motivational skills that now define his ministry.
