Damon Owens is the Executive Director of the Theology of the Body Institute, whose mission is to educate and train men and women to understand, live, and promote the Theology of the Body. He is the founder of Joy-Filled Marriage NJ and New Jersey Natural Family Planning Association, non-profit organizations dedicated to building a marriage culture through training, seminars, and conferences. Damon and his wife Melanie have been teaching Natural Family Planning (NFP) since 1993, and served as NFP Program Coordinators for the Archdiocese of Newark.

As Executive Director of Joyful Ever After and National Parish Engagement Officer for Communio, Damon has spent over three decades equipping couples to strengthen their marriages and helping the Church promote healthy relationships through the lens of Theology of the Body.
Damon was the first Executive Director of the Theology of the Body Institute and has maintained a vibrant speaking schedule across national and international stages, sharing the transformative teachings on marriage, sexuality, adoption, and Natural Family Planning (NFP). His contributions to marriage and family life were recognized by Pope Francis in 2018, when Damon received the prestigious Benemerenti Papal Medal.
A gifted communicator, Damon has published numerous articles, appeared on major media outlets like EWTN, Relevant Radio, and ABC World News Tonight, and produced and hosted three 13-part television series. He’s also an accomplished gospel singer, honored with a solo performance during the 1995 Papal Mass at Giants Stadium presided over by Pope St. John Paul II.
Damon lives outside Philadelphia with his wife, Melanie, their eight children, and two grandchildren, continuing his mission to proclaim the beauty and joy of God’s plan for marriage and family.
