The Honorable Tim Huelskamp, Ph.D. is a longtime conservative leader with over 30 years of experience in policy, advocacy, and campaigns at both the state and federal levels. A passionate pro-life advocate, policy expert, and Catholic communicator, he has played a key role in shaping conservative and pro-family policies across the nation.
Dr. Huelskamp represented Kansas in the U.S. Congress for six years, served as Whip for the Pro-Life Caucus, and was a leader among Catholic Congressmen and the House Freedom Caucus. He championed religious liberty, fought against government overreach, and led efforts to protect traditional marriage, the rights of military chaplains, and pro-life initiatives.
Prior to his time in Congress, he spent 14 years in the Kansas Legislature, where he was instrumental in passing key conservative laws, including the Kansas Marriage Amendment, multiple pro-life protections, and tax relief for families.
Beyond elected office, Dr. Huelskamp has advised and supported numerous conservative candidates, campaigns, organizations, and companies, including Catholic League, CatholicVote, Catholics for Trump, and pro-life ballot measures across the country. Currently, he serves as President of the Kansas Pregnancy Care Network, working to expand support for pregnant women and families in need.
A dedicated scholar, he earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from American University with a focus on American politics. He previously studied at a Catholic seminary and holds a teaching degree. In recent years, he has become a leading expert on Catholic voter behavior and the public policy process in both Washington, D.C. and in the states.
Tim and his wife Angela, who met through pro-life advocacy, have four adopted children. He continues to be involved with his family farm and runs a successful political consulting business. In his free time, he enjoys sports, sharing his faith, and supporting his children’s activities.
