Christian B. Wagner is a Catholic writer, speaker, and researcher dedicated to recovering the intellectual tradition of the Church. A convert to Catholicism from Anglicanism, his work focuses on the relationship between the Catholic faith and public life. Through his educational apostolate, including a widely followed YouTube channel and blog, he helps audiences rediscover the depth and coherence of Catholic theology. Wagner also participates in missionary efforts as Head of Theology at the St. Nicholas Tavelić Network, working toward the evangelization and conversion of the Muslim world. His talks combine historical scholarship, theological clarity, and practical insight for Catholics seeking the restoration of all things in Christ.
Christian B. Wagner is a Catholic researcher and educator whose work focuses on traditional Catholic theology and its application to contemporary theological discourse and political questions. His intellectual interests center especially on the scholastic tradition of the Church, where he works directly with primary sources in order to contribute to the renewal of Catholic theology.
Before entering the Catholic Church, Wagner studied theology while preparing for Anglican ministry. His study of the doctrinal claims of the Reformation ultimately led him to the Catholic Church, where he now dedicates his work to helping others understand the historical and theological foundations of the Catholic faith.
Much of Wagner’s work involves studying, translating, and explaining classical theological texts, particularly from the scholastic period. By bringing these sources into dialogue with contemporary questions, he seeks to make the intellectual heritage of the Church more accessible to modern Catholics. Through his writing and public teaching, he aims to demonstrate the coherence and intellectual rigor of Catholic theology while helping educate Catholics and defend the faith.
Alongside his scholarly work, Wagner has developed an educational apostolate through digital media, where he presents theological topics for a broad audience. His work seeks to bridge the gap between academic theology and ordinary Catholics who desire a deeper understanding of their faith.
Wagner also contributes to missionary efforts connected to the St. Nicholas Tavelić Network, which promotes evangelization directed toward the Muslim world. As Head of Theology, his work includes research, writing, and collaboration on projects aimed at presenting the Catholic faith to audiences unfamiliar with the Christian tradition.

St. Thomas Aquinas and the Conversion of the Muslim World
One of St. Thomas Aquinas’ most famous works, the Summa Contra Gentiles, was written to present the rational foundations of the Catholic faith and to answer objections raised against it, especially from Muslims. The work emerged within the context of missionary efforts directed toward the Islamic world during the High Middle Ages. Although the missionary effort was ultimately a failure, the intellectual program St. Thomas laid out remains a powerful tool for evangelization today. As Head of Theology at the Catholic Church’s only universal mission to converts from Islam, I will discuss how St. Thomas' approach is currently serving as as a foundation for a renewed missionary effort aimed at the conversion of the Islamic world.
