She was the founder of BLEXIT, the leading national minority movement for conservative principles in the USA, and she was the author of the New York Times bestselling book BLACKOUT, which has sold over half a million copies worldwide and been translated into multiple languages.
Candace has produced and starred in two landmark documentaries, including "The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd & the Rise of BLM’, which received critical acclaim for its investigative work into the dark corruption of the Black Lives Matter movement. She has delivered speeches all over the world, been featured in multiple global publications, appeared before Congress twice, and has a combined social media presence of almost 25 million followers.
Prior to being independent, her show The Candace Owens Podcast, was hosted by The Daily Wire and PragerU from 2019 until 2024. She was also the Communications Director for Turning Point USA from 2017 until 2019, and before that worked at a private equity firm in Manhattan. She attended the University of Rhode Island and graduated with a double bachelor's in English & Journalism. She is a married, mother of three.
