What if you didn't know a hurricane was coming until it started to rain? Brian Shields turned weather into a ministry! Brian is one of the top YouTubers in the world, a former Television Meteorologist, children's author, and basketball coach. He's known as "Mr. Weatherman" on YouTube, using his gifts from God to serve others.
Brian's mission work in Haiti shaped his faith. In the wake of deadly hurricanes, Brian sought to bring credible weather information to the Caribbean. After failing in this attempt for years, one of his sons told him, "Dad, just do the weather. It's what you do." That's what he did and the result was beyond imagination — critical life-saving information reaching millions of amazing people.
A cradle Catholic, Brian once thought the Catholic faith was an unwanted burden. Today, he is a devoted husband and father of three and spends time bringing the Holy Eucharist to the sick and homebound. He works for the Diocese of Orlando at Bishop Moore Catholic High School in Florida.
