Having won multiple awards as a former Multi-Media Journalist to now engaging audiences through her Hollywood action career, Brenda has an incredible zest for work in the media and especially in proclaiming her love and joy found in Christ Jesus. She has been nominated for multiple stunt awards for various projects and has made use of her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology to bring much needed attention found in the gifts of "Feminine Genius" in hopes to bring the healing love of Christ to a wounded world.
Brenda was recently nicknamed the Catholic, "Swiss Army Knife" for her multifaceted life and career, and especially due to her faith and devotion to Christ.
She earned her bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and minor in Spanish language journalism from Cal State Northridge, and earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola Marymount University.
Upon graduating from school, Brenda worked for Telemundo 52 in Los Angeles (a Spanish NBC affiliate), and while she was there, she did a news story on the “abortion controversy” which earned her multiple awards.
She then transitioned to Hollywood and has worked as an actress and stuntwoman, and has had roles in major films, such as: Fast X, Avatar - The Way of Water, Transformers – The Last Knight; Ant-man and The Wasp, as well as several TV shows, including Yellowstone, Hawaii Five-0, SWAT, Lethal Weapon, and many others. She has also been a long time stunt double for Jenna Ortega.
Brenda‘s work as a stunt double often involves physically demanding and dangerous scenes so she trains in martial arts and crossfit, and maintains a healthy diet (physically and spiritually) in order to stay fit and battle ready!
Brenda has also been featured on a variety of catholic media outlets, including EWTN, Aleteia, National Catholic Register and others. Most recently, Bishop Barron’s “Evangelization & Culture Journal“ featured one of her essays titled, "Created For Greatness." She is incredibly grateful to serve Jesus on such a global scale by sharing the good news with everyone she encounters."
