Bob Rowe founded the nonprofit Renaissance Enterprises in 1988 for the benefit of residents of nursing homes, VA hospitals, and similar facilities. Since then he has devoted much of his life to bringing live music to the residents.
Robert J. “Bob” Rowe (born in Battle Creek, Michigan) is a noted musical performer and recording artist. He is also well known as a crusader for residents of long term care facilities.In 2006 he received the Mother Teresa award, sponsored by the St. Bernadette Institute of Sacred Art. The award was for his role as "an American friend to the elderly, especially in the field of music!"
Bob is an amazing artist with over 22 recordings, hundreds of published songs, music awards and national accolades to his credit. He has won various ASCAP awards for his original music and his recording of Leonard Cohen's song, "Hallelujah" reached number 12 on the national pop, satellite and internet charts in 2010. He has had numerous songs published in song books and periodicals including, Monthly Missaletes and The People's Mass Book. His music has been featured on Sirius XM 15, The Village and on Sirius 130-Catholic Connection as well as other national and regional radio chains. His work with Renaissance Enterprises-bringing music and the arts to our nations senior's-has been featured in TIME Magazine, USA Today, American Profile, Daily Word, The Catholic Digest and even the National Enquirer and Examiner! n 1989, Bob recorded an entire series for EWTN Global Catholic Television, The Vineyard, and has also been a guest on other EWTN radio and television shows including, Catholic Connection, with Teresa Tomeo. He has appeared on numerous other national and regional television networks including, TCT, PBS, TBN and others.
