Ellen’s daughter, Meghan, has an undiagnosed medical condition which renders her unable to eat, speak, move or breathe on her own. Meghan, who wasn't expected to live past 6 months is now 15 years old and has been on life support since she was an infant and is cared for at home by her family and a small contingent of nurses periodically. Ellen boldly defends life, speaking out for the handicapped, weak and vulnerable in our society, as well as opposing euthanasia. Through scripture and prayer, she unites her families sufferings; drawing them closer to the heart of Christ.
